In October of 2014 I had the opportunity to visit Dortmund, where the famous Borussia is based. The timing was perfect because Germany won the World Cup that year in Brazil and the overall interest in soccer was electric. The ten days that I spent there were very productive and I had a chance to participate in various practices for all age groups of youth teams of Borussia Dortmund and Bochum. Also I was happy to intern at The Football Academy Germany. The academy boasts over 500 young soccer players and has trained some amazing athletes including Gotze, who is currently playing for Bayern Munich. I also visited Belgium where I met a captivating trainer who shared with me many strategies for training young soccer players. This trip has enriched me tremendously and I have gained a great deal of training experience which I am eager to integrate into the Volf Soccer Academy.
